This is your Captain Speaking. I’m Richie Tevlin, the Founder, Owner, and Brewmaster of Space Cadet Brewing Company. My passion for beer was ignited while I was studying business at Penn State where I found myself captivated by the explosive growth of the craft brewing industry (2011-2015) and quickly fell in love with the art and science of brewing.

 I spent the next four years reading every book, article, and blog post I could get my hands on while making “drinkable” homebrews in my kitchen for my friends who were just excited about the free beer. After college, I decided to take one giant step into the world of professional brewing. I received a formal brewing education through the American Brewers Guild and began the long grueling process of cutting my teeth in the cellars of some of the most accomplished breweries in the country. After nearly a decade of climbing the ranks and perfecting my craft, I found myself developing brands, writing recipes, and brewing some of the most sought-after beers currently sold in the Philadelphia Market, and decided it was time to write my own story.
